Lions Club International
Lions Clubs International is the largest service club organization in the world. More than 1.4 million members in over 48,000 clubs are serving in 200 countries and geographic areas around the globe. Since 1917, Lions have strengthened local communities through hands-on service and humanitarian projects. We are focused on supporting vision, the environment, childhood cancer, hunger, diabetes and other pressing humanitarian needs to help address some of the biggest challenges facing humanity.
Heroes of El Paso Lions Club
The Heroes of El Paso Lions Club was formed by veterans, police, firefighters, first responders, and their family members to gather those whose occupations encompass service and compassion so that they might, in this way too, serve their fellow man.

Our club will also search out ways to assist veterans, police, firefighters, first responders, and their families in need of a helping hand.

The club will also seek members from the immediate families of young men and women of El Paso just entering military service. We hope to become a support group for those families and, at the same time, provide a means for them to give to the community as their child gives to the nation.
Volunteering
Serving with a mission
Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, however few are built like those of the Heroes of El Paso Lions Club. Comprised completely of veterans, police, firefighters, first responders, and their families. The Heroes of El Paso Lions Club and its members are dedicated to not only serve the community but to serve with a mission.
Giving back to those that have served as well as those in need is the cornerstone of what we stand for.
Serving Locally To Improve Lives Globally
Making Change Possible
Heroes of El Paso Lions Club may be a local club to El Paso. However, we are part of a much larger global initiative to improve the quality of life for millions of people around the globe.

Lions Club International empowers Lions clubs, volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that impacts lives both locally and globally, and encourages peace and international understanding.
